      In India the people are very much habitual to interfere in personal affairs of others. Marriage is a social custom but also a personal affair of an individual. But in India marriage becomes a "social pressure" as soon as you are above 24 and 22 (for boys and girls resp.)  years of age . Every uncle-aunty in your colony looks after you as a marriage material and then soon " beta shadi kab kar rhe ho "becomes a typical everyday question.  In simple terms you and your family decisions about YOUR marriage are largely dictated by the society. Common caste, common religion, common gotra, uncommon surname (this is common in many parts of Maharashtra) and whatnot. This match-making list goes on filtering your choices. But when a girl/boy falls in love with a girl/boy, the moral policing by the society becomes a BIG BROTHER as said by George Orwell .       सैराट आल्यानंतर आपल्या सगळ्यांना वाटलं कि आरची आणि परश्या सोबत जे झालं ते खूप चुकीचं होतं. पण थेटर मधून बाहेर पडल्यानंतर जात आणि धर्म पुन्हा आपल्या मनावर आरूढ झालेत . आजही  भारतात सारख्या जातीत आणि धर्मात लग्न लावून देण्याचं प्रमाण खूप आहे. आपला हट्ट असतो तो. दुसऱ्या जातीत किंवा धर्मात लग्नं केलं तर समाजातून बहिष्कृत केलं जातं अनेकांना .      संविधानाच्या पहिल्या पानावर भारतीय समाज कसा असायला हवा याचा संदर्भ दिलेला आहे. त्याला आपण प्रास्ताविक म्हणतो. मग त्यात अनेक गोष्टी दिल्या आहेत . त्यात न्याय , स्वातंत्र्य , समता आणि बंधुता या ४ गोष्टी प्रवर्धित करण्याचा संकल्प करतोय असा म्हटलंय. ७० वर्ष उलटून गेलीत . पण भारतीय समाज आजही जातीयवादाच्या विळख्यातून बाहेर पडलेला नाही. धार्मिक आणि जातीय ध्रुवीकरण प्रचंड प्रमाणात वाढलंय. आज आपण आपला नेता जात आणि धर्म पाहून निवडतो. आपण अशा टोकावर येऊन पोहोचलोय जिथे नेत्याला विरोध करणं म्हणजे धर्माला विरोध करणं,आणि धर्माला विरोध करणं  म्हणजेच देशाला विरोध करणं झालंय. धार्मिक आणि जातीयवादी कत्तली आपल्याला रोजच्या...

             Delhi witnessed a lot of hate speeches and firing incidents during and after the elections too . I am quoting some of them here because it is necessary for the people to know the perpetrators behind the large scale violence in the National capital in which 38 people have lost their lives while more than 200 are injured till now. The people who gave hate speeches were the leaders from BJP and AIMIM. None of them is behind the bars except an FIR is lodged on Waris Pathan.           It all started on 15 December 2019 when Delhi police mishandled the Jamia Milia university students strike (against CAA)  by entering the campus and brutally beating the students in which many are seriously injured while one student has lost his eye permanently.      We are going through an era where every day a Godse is brought before us. Yesterday we all saw how a “Gopal” came and shot at a student in Jamia Milia university. On 30 January 1948, a man whose mind was filled with hatred killed Gandhiji. Remember that the partition of our country also happened due to this same hatred. We cannot see that bloodshed again, therefore, we have to adopt Gandhi and reject Godse.        This is a country of non-violence. Whenever violence has happened in the country, then Gandhiji’s element of non-violence is remembered. Gandhiji had ideological differences with many people, but enmity with none. In order to have ideological differences, there must be one’s own ideology, but nowadays some people have reduced their ability to think. Anyone can provoke them easily.
